Kathy, this reminds me so much of the work of William Christenberry:http://www.jacksonfineart.com/William-Christenberry-232.html He started out as a painter using photographs as a reference for his painting of old architecture in Hale County Alabama. I love the brushwork in this piece.

I like how you use color to define shape, more so than line. That's what gives it that loose romantic abstract look and feel.

I like old abandoned Homesteads and all the purpose and potential they enjoyed. A very beautiful interpretation of a homestead here, Kathy!
